Using this website

This site gives general information about Michigan law. It is not legal advice, and using it, calling us or sending a form does not create an attorney-client relationship; that happens only through a written agreement signed by you and the firm. See our disclaimer and Privacy Policy.

Text message (SMS) program

Program description. Grove & Associates sends text messages to people who opt in by checking the optional box on a case review form on this website, or who agree with our office. Messages are about your own inquiry or case: returning your request, callbacks, appointment reminders, case status updates and requests for documents. We do not send marketing messages, and we do not use purchased or shared lists. Texting is never required to contact us or to hire us.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies with your inquiry or case.

Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier.

How to opt out. Text STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. We will send one message confirming you are unsubscribed, and no more after that. You can also ask us to stop by calling 313.733.1204.

Carrier liability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Age. You must be at least 18 years old to opt in to text messages. If you are helping someone younger, please call the office instead.

Privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. Mobile phone numbers and text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Confidential details. Text messages are not a secure channel. Please don’t send medical records, insurance documents or other sensitive details by text; we will give you a secure way to send them.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
